Introduction to Ishikawa Prefecture

Take a trip in a rental car to experience the diversity of Japan

Ishikawa Prefecture, located right in the middle of Honshu, Japan, has well-diversified tourism assets, with its own historical culture and abundant nature. Although there are famous sightseeing spots gathered in the center of Kanazawa, the central city of Ishikawa, a rental car allows you to take a trip and find the untouched, original Japan, including rustic fishing and rural villages, historic shrines and temples, hot springs in the mountainous regions, and beautiful landscapes created by the rich nature.
Komatsu Airport is the best base for your rental car trip. From here you can easily reach Kanazawa, the Noto Peninsula that protrudes into the Sea of Japan, and the foot of Mt. Hakusan, known as one of Japan’s Three Holy Mountains. Let’s hit the road to explore the various sides of Japan!
